I had them come out to finish installing the propane hookup to my garage heater and also electrical and my furnished thermostat. Over the winter my thermostat didn't shut my heater off by itself. I thought it was the thermostat so I called company and had it warranted. Then my new one did the same thing. So I called Comfort by design to have them come out and see if it was on their end or something they hooked up. The tech told me it was shorted out in the unit where the first tech hooked it up and that's why it was damaging my thermostats. He installed a new one he had in his truck and took my two I had already. Said he would see what he could do for a warranty. Just got the bill. It is nothing like he said it was going to be. He said it was going to cost me $79.00 with new thermostat with hookup and he would see what he could do for a warranty for the old thermostats I had already. The salesman I spoke with also said if it was something they did they would not charge me. I just got the bill and it's $251.00. This is the last time I'm going to use this company. They also schedule you and then when they don't show up on time you call just for them to say that either he is behind or there was a priority ahead of me. No sorry and no call ahead as a heads up to let you know. That's the second time that has happened to me with them. I will be calling corporate about this to see what can be done. Update > I did receive a call from them and everything was straightened out and taken care of. I am changing my review from 1 star to 4 because they called me to help fix the problem. Thanks Chuck!
